DABS

Daily Airspace Bulletin Switzerland (DABS)

The DABS is an official Swiss aeronautical publication and provides the current airspace status at the time of retrieval, as information source for VFR aviation and in accordance with the NOTAM publications. NOTAM affecting the whole Swiss territory of parts thereof such as MIL night flights are listed on the text side of the DABS only.

DABS first version (Version 1):
Publication takes place daily at 16:00 hours (local time) and shows all valid airspace restrictions applying to the following day. No additional airspace restrictions will be published after this time. (Exception: Imminent danger)

DABS updates (Versions 2 / 3 / 4):
A new publication, which is valid immediately, will be made available at 9:00 / 13:00 / 16:00 (local time). Night flights undertaken by the Swiss Air Force will be listed on the DABS by 16:00, at the latest, for the current day.

NOTAMs will be adapted accordingly should improvements to the airspace take place
The DABS incorporates NOTAM information only at the time of its publication. Airspace restrictions, which are not used (released prematurely) or have expired at the time of updating, will not be indicated in the next publication.
In between the fixed publication times NOTAMs will be updated without delay. This could lead to discrepancies between the NOTAM and DABS information.

The following still applies: The DABS does not replace the NOTAMs
